In this section are images of my 1990 adventure in East Africa that I have finally scanned from film negatives shot with a Minolta Maxxum SLR, my first ever SLR camera. What a tedious process scanning is! Its my hope that the quality of my images, scanning and processing is sufficient in at least a small degree to portray the magnificence of the land and creatures of East Africa. On this first page are images taken in Rwanda's Virunga Volcano region where our group tracked the spectacular but endangered Mountain Gorillas, specifically the Susa and Group 13 family groups. On this page are other amazing primates such as chimpanzees at Gombe Stream, Vervet Monkeys and Olive Baboons in Tanzania. Now onward to the photos that you came here to see and I hope you enjoy them. Also please visit
