Within this page are my 3rd set of selected images taken during my adventure on the amazing Galapagos Islands, home of some of the most unique species on Earth. On this page are photos of the remarkable Marine Iguana, the worlds only sea-going lizard and is thought to have evolved from Land Iguanas which floated from the mainland long ago on branches in the sea. Also here are photos of the bizarre, unique and very rare Flightless Cormorant which is incapable of flight and has only vistigial wings. Flightless Cormorants are found on only the Fernandina and Isabella islands of the Galapagos. Additionally, on this page are photos of Galapagos Sea Lions, Herons, Whimbrels, Galapagos Hawks and some very notable landscapes. Hopefully my photography will convey the wonder of the Galapagos.
