Galapagos Photo Adventures
The Journey Continues Part 3

Within this page are my 3rd set of selected images taken during my adventure on the amazing Galapagos Islands, home of some of the most unique species on Earth.  On this page are photos of the remarkable Marine Iguana, the worlds only sea-going lizard and is thought to have evolved from Land Iguanas which floated from the mainland long ago on branches in the sea.  Also here are photos of the bizarre, unique and very rare Flightless Cormorant which is incapable of flight and has only vistigial wings.  Flightless Cormorants are found on only the Fernandina and Isabella islands of the Galapagos. Additionally, on this page are photos of Galapagos Sea Lions, Herons, Whimbrels, Galapagos Hawks and some very notable landscapes.  This will be my last page of Galapagos Islands photos this year but after my upcoming 15 day adventure in the Galapagos Islands next May of 2008, I will hopefully have many many more fascinating images of this extraordinary land.  Hopefully my photography will convey in at least a small degree the wonder of the Galapagos Islands. To leave comments, suggestions or questions blog me! , for which there is also a link at the bottom of each page.
