New Zealand Photo AdventuresAnd Other Intriguing Destinations

Here are some images of my photo adventures in New Zealand and to other intriguing destinations.  After obtaining a month of vacation time for February to March, 2005, I booked a flight to New Zealand, a place I have always aspired to visit and finally actually did for kayaking on the Marlborough sound and Milford sound, for biking and heli-hiking on the South Island, for hiking on the Milford track and relaxing on the Coromandel.  New Zealand's remoteness contributed to its appeal, making it seem more enigmatic from far away, not to mention the sheer beauty of its landscape.
Also, I have available an East Africa Photos section for viewing amazing primates and wildlife such as mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, baboons, lions, rhinos and other astounding creatures in Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania where I visited for a month in 1990.
In May, 2007 I visited the amazing Galapagos Islands which Ive photographed and can be seen at Galapagos Island Adventures. Its a remarkable land and I've already planned another visit for May, 2008!
In the meantime, I've realized that adventures can also be found locally, such as at my local Milwaukee County Zoo, one of the finest zoological attractions in the country, where Ive photographed some amazing creatures, featured on my latest pages at Milwaukee Zoological Adventures.
Photos speak louder than words, so on this page are some of my favorite images from New Zealand, almost all taken on the South Island.  Its my hope that those who stumble across these pages of my adventure photos will enjoy them at least half as much as I did taking them.  To leave comments, suggestions or questions blog me! , for which there is also a link at the bottom of each page.
